Yankees Top Prospect Receives Devastating News

The Yankees shocked everyone by calling up their No. 2 ranked prospect a little over a week ago. Jasson Dominguez shined in his first few games up in the majors. Now, he's sidelined due to a UCL tear and may likely need Tommy John surgery.

Dominguez slashed .258/.303/.677 with 4 home runs and 7 RBI in just 8 games. The youngster showed flashes of being the next great Yankee and has been a positive sign for Yankee fans.

Though position players can often return within six months of surgery, the timeline is between 6-9 months for a return. Dominguez should not miss much time next season if all goes well. The news is tough for Yankee fans, but with age involved, the youngster should recover smoothly and be back in the Bronx, sometime in 2024.
