Additionally, the press conference for Yamamoto was held yesterday. Yoshinobu Yamamoto had a few things to say about going the Dodgers.

First, Yoshinobu Yamamoto prepared an opening statement for Dodgers fans. He said, "Good afternoon, my name is Yoshinobu Yamamoto. I am beyond excited to become a member of this historic franchise and can't express how much it means to me to be able to call Los Angeles my new home."

Second, Yoshinobu Yamamoto was asked a main reason he chose to sign with the Dodgers. He answered, "It was very important to me to go to a team that wants to win. The Dodgers provided that opportunity the most."

Third, Yoshinobu Yamamoto was asked if Shohei Ohtani signing with the Dodgers had anything to do with him signing with the Dodgers. Yamamoto replied, "Even if he went somewhere else, I probably still would've ended up in LA as a Dodger."

More of Yoshinobu Yamamoto: "I will stop simply admiring the players that I've looked up to. But rather strive to become the player that others want to become."

It was a great day for the Los Angeles Dodgers and their fans to be able to officially introduce Yoshinobu Yamamoto. The Dodgers fans should be happy with the off-season their team is having, it's been one of their best in the history of the Dodgers franchise.
