The Texas Rangers are coming off of their first World Series championship in franchise history. Spring Training recently got underway, and their is one player that is standing out for the Rangers. That is MLB's No. 6 prospect, Wyatt Langford. Wyatt Langford is an outfielder with a really good bat.

Wyatt Langford was picked by the Rangers in the 2023 MLB draft with the fourth overall pick. Ever since being drafted by the Rangers, Langford has been an exciting player in their organization.

This Spring Training, in 17 at-bats, Wyatt Langford is slashing .353/.450/.882, with 3 HR's, 7 RBI's, and a 1.332 OPS. In addition, Langford has hit 2 home runs in the last 3 games. It's still a small sample size, but those are some video game numbers.

The Rangers could have a few young stars in their opening day lineup, as long as Langford makes the roster. That would be Wyatt Langford, Jonah Heim, and Evan Carter, who shined last year at the big league level.

Mixing Wyatt Langford, Jonah Heim, and Evan Carter in a lineup with some proven stars in the Rangers lineup could be fun to watch. Players like Corey Seager, Adolis García, Marcus Semien, and Nathaniel Lowe. Along with some others.
