Everyone knows the story about Cody Bellinger. A former MVP and a center piece for the Dodgers just a few seasons ago. However, his last two seasons in Los Angeles were unforgiving.
Fast forward to the 2022 off-season, many wondered what team would pick up the former MVP. In steps the Chicago Cubs and it's been a great signing thus far.
In 34 games, Bellinger is slashing .288/.360/.530 with 7 home runs and 19 RBIs. It's been a breath of fresh air for baseball fans as Bellinger was a top player in the league just a few seasons ago. It's looking like he might just call the Windy City home.
There's no telling if Bellinger will be able to keep up the pace. However, if that does indeed happen, he'll be calling Chicago home for more than just this season.
